Personal shopping service on the Isle of Wight

A personal shopper can be a game-changer for anyone looking to make major changes to a room or their entire home. This service allows clients to experience and enjoy a more personalised and efficient shopping experience, and gives them peace of mind that they are making the right choices.

It is imperative to design a room as a whole, so I keep in mind everything about the design to ensure the end result is cohesive and practical.

Who can benefit?

This service is invaluable for busy homeowners who lack the time to shop for and decorate their home. Particularly good for anyone not living on the Island, but who wants to use local Island-based shops and suppliers.

Three shopping experiences

Pre-Shopping – If you are short of time, I can pre-shop on your behalf. I will visit a pre-agreed list of showrooms in advance and select products. These will be set aside in store, for you to then go and consider at your convenience. This saves you a lot of time and effort.

Accompanied Shopping – In instances when a client wants me to go with them to visit a showroom. I particularly like this, as it’s more personal and engaging for me and for the client. I will accompany you to, or meet you at a showroom, and assist you in selecting products. The client is reassured by this second opinion, that the decision they make is the right one.

Virtual Shopping – For clients who don’t live permanently on the Isle of Wight. This service can be conducted virtually via Zoom or WhatsApp. I will curate selections and hold a virtual meeting with you whilst I am at the showroom. Alternatively I can make a video of the choices I have made and forward this to you to review at your convenience.

Wall and floor tiles

I use two trusted tiling showrooms on the Island. Although very different to each other, they both offer a wide choice of colours and styles, and budgets too.

With masses of tiles on display, customers are also allowed to borrow samples so they can see them in their own home. It’s always advisable to spend a few days mulling over choices, and see them in different lights, both day and night.

Carpets and rugs

The two companies I recommend offer a wide range of carpets and stair runners. Choose from from durable natural materials such as sisal, coir, jute, and seagrass, or soft natural wool. Carpet runners and rugs made from British wool.

Hard flooring

You cannot beat real wood as a material for flooring. It’s warm and durable, and timeless. I only offer engineered hardwood floors that are FSC® certified.
