DESIGN FEES

Every client and every project is different. Fees are therefore tailored according to the work involved in preparing the scheme, or overseeing a project.

MY DESIGN FEES

Every home and every project is unique, so I keep my approach to fees flexible to suit your needs. My aim is always to be transparent, fair, and clear, so you know exactly what to expect.

Here are the most common ways I work:

HOURLY RATE

For smaller projects or when you just need guidance, I offer an hourly rate. This is ideal if you’d like focused advice, help with sourcing, or a design consultation without committing to a full project.

Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm: £40

Evenings / weekends: + 50%

Fixed Fee

When the scope of a project is clear, I can offer a set price for the whole job. This gives you certainty on costs from the outset.

You’ll know exactly what’s included, whether it’s mood boards, sourcing, or styling, and there are no surprises along the way.

Percentage of Project Cost

For larger projects, I sometimes work on a percentage basis, usually between 10–20% of the overall spend. This reflects the scale of work involved and ensures my fee is aligned with the size of the project.

Product Sourcing (Cost-Plus)

When I source furniture, finishes, or accessories, I often buy at trade prices and then add a fair markup (typically 10–30%).

This means you benefit from products and suppliers not always available on the high street, while I cover the time it takes to manage the process.

Hybrid APPROACH

Many projects benefit from a blend of these methods – for example, a fixed design fee paired with sourcing – and I’ll always suggest the structure that works best for your project.

What TO EXPECT

Your fee will depend on the size and complexity of your project, the level of service you’d like from me, and how involved you’d like me to be. I’ll always explain everything up front and keep communication open if the scope changes.

MY Commitment

Whichever fee structure we choose, you’ll have the reassurance of clear pricing, a collaborative approach, and a design process rooted in creativity and sustainability.
